the journey to -30
if you know me, you’ve probably known me in a few different stages of my life. there was young, active, awesome timmy of yester year. then i went to college, and gained a whole lot of weight. then i went to florida, and dropped a whole lot of it. then in the almost two years between leaving florida, and now i’ve gained some of it. (roughly 30 pounds by my estimate, and that’s probably being generously low) i’ve had some bad breaks, stress fracture in my foot, some stomach issues, whatever. i’ve decided, inspired by a good friend in her quest to lose 20 pounds by christmas, to follow suit. except 20 isn’t enough for me. i’ve decided to drop 30. by christmas.
how do i plan on doing this? you might be asking yourself. or you might be unconcerned. regardless, the answer is this: i intend to lose 30 pounds by christmas, jared style. walking and diet. i’ve signed up for myfitnesspal.com and got their free app which will help me track intake, and i’ve got myself a pedometer to help track activity. i’ve got a tumblr which i will use to write updates on the progress.
